I layed in bed for an hour before I actually got out the door this morning…
WHY?
Because I was soooo unmotivated. Not only did I have a ‘kinda bad’ weekend eating, but it has been really HOT lately and the baby kept me up for a while around 3am. SOOOO…after I weighed myself (because I was convinced I gained two pounds) I was happy to find I had not gained anything. So, I put on my clothes, my shoes and rushed out the house.
I ended up performing 40 minutes of stairclimbing and chest for strength training. I got to talk to some really good friends and I was out of there in an hour…
What I realize from this experience is:
– Don’t think too much – just GET UP AND GO!
– You will HATE your day if you don’t get your workout done.
– Having a routine is key to happiness.
– Exercise is a HABIT
SO…I have to get going on my day but those of my words of wisdom for now.
Have a wonderful week!! happy Monday!!!

Hey Maria! I just have to tell you, you are total inspiration to me. My whole life I have been afraid to become overweight and let myself go, as my mom and older sister have. Right now I’m in great shape and love my body, but my hubby and I just found out we’re 7 weeks pregnant!! I’m very excited, but also very afraid of totally losing my body and becoming fat and lazy after pregnancy. Your pregnancy journals have been very encouraging for me, and I plan to continue running and eating healthy throughout this pregnancy (it’s my first so I’m not sure what to expect!!) Anyway, you are a huge fitness role model for me. Thank you for challenging me!!!! (Cause I have NO excuse!!)
I love your strength! Keep up the good work! Best wishes, Maria
Awesome!
