Annoying sense of Anxiousness.

Fitnesswithoutborders.org
launched its website on Saturday.

It was an exciting, yet muted event where my personal satisfaction was heightened, my internal fatigue halted and my emotional anxiousness enhanced. Similar to the day I won Elementary student council president, or the day I graduated UC Davis or found out FWB was given 501(c)(3) status  the moment was exciting, but the emotional energy passed quickly through me and onward towards a new destination.

Right now, I am preparing for a board meeting in 4.5 hours. I am compiling lengthy bylaws and brochures, the annual fundraising plan, some proposed programs, a few potential partners and a lofty grant calendar. Even though weve convened before and progress has been madeI still feel a healthy yet annoying sense of anxiousness.

One of basketballs greatest players, Larry Bird, talks about this healthy feeling of anxiousness, “I get nervous, there’s no question about it,” he said. “But once the game starts you know it is up to the
players to perform. That’s what it’s all about. But if you’re not nervous, you’re not into it.”

Players get nervous before playing…Performers get nervous before performing…Singers get nervous before singing

and I
being the Dreamer I am, get nervous before I start executing Dreams.

When you give something careful thought and consideration. When you’ve focused your attention on a specific goal and a desired outcome for weeks, months or years. When you bridge who you are, with what you do and how you do it

…you start realizing the eternal existence that was, is and always will be.

We are all designed for something more and perfectly tailored for all that is great.

You harness a unique talent, a perfect ability and vast gifts that were meant to fulfill a specific need in this world. In evolutionary theory and our human geography, you will naturally disconnect where you are
being unused and flow to vibrant areas where your existence is needed.

Where there is a helper, there is someone who needs to be helped. Where there is a healer, there is someone who needs to be healedwhere there is a leader, there is someone who needs to be led.

One year ago, I left my comfortable job at 24 hour fitness corporate, with nothing but passion and personal will to employ my talents where they were most utilized and needed. One year later, through faith and faith alone.Americas newest fitness nonprofit has been born.

Thank you for reading and God Bless you!

I was sooo busy on Friday! I worked all morning, then babysat these
kids, went to a carehome to do activities with the elderly, then I took
these little ones to a fitness faire at Powerhouse gym in Rancho
Cordova. Afterwards, I went to my Christian group meeting. AND!! My
blackberry was fried after the kids open water bottle flooded my purse.
It was crazy!

It was a lot of fun! There was a face painting, t shirt painting, tons of food and big giveaways!

With Ruthie Bolton of the WNBA’s Sacramento Monarchs and Janelle!!

Our nonprofit vendored at the Child Care and Early Education Conferencce held by Child Action on Saturday.
I created these brochures a few weeks ago! Aren’t they awesome!??!!

My fitness mats were a big, big hit!

Setting up!!! Now – THAT was a crazy morning too. I worked out, then
went last minute shopping, collected giveaways from 24 hour fitness and
Max Muscle, then created fliers…etc.etc.etc.

There was a huge response! I’m so excited to get people healthy and active!

Afterwards, David treated me to lunch and we found this really cool bike for only $40! It was on sale!

THEN – we went to San Francisco to attend my dear frieend, Minji Wong’s birthday. We match!

I bought him that shirt! Green is my fffaaavvvvooorrritttee color!

At Luna Lounge with my girlfriend Stephanie. It was Trivia night – and
WE LOST. I talked to the professor hosting the event and let him know
most of his questions were male-oriented. Maybe next time we can win!
